Monday, September 8th, 2008

Individuals, businesses and governments that are consumers of energy are waking up to the need to start saving energy in order to reduce expenses and promote economic security. The more we all use renewable energy or pollution free fuels, the more we help ourselves and the environment. The term renewable energy sources stands for energy which is generated from non depleting natural resources. Alternative energy sources are the key to the future. If we continue to rely on the finite energy resources such as fossil fuels, our technological society may crumble. Alternative energy sources can be replenished in a short period of time or are limitless. Some possible alternative energy sources are: * Solar * Wind Power * Geothermal * Tides * Hydroelectric Solar Energy - is one the most promising replacements for polluting energy sources. Enough solar energy illuminates the Earth on any given day to power the entire planet for a year. Solar energy is used commonly for heating water, cooking, to produce electricity and even in the desalination of seawater.
